First Aid Connect’s N95 Mask Fit Testing is built on the program standards and procedures set by 3M (the respirator mask manufacturer), the Ontario Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Labour. We follow all the guidelines laid out by the Canadian Standards Association and the National Institute of Health and Safety.
We fit test for each person in compliance with provincial health directives. We currently provide one on one testing at our convenient location in the east end of Ottawa (out of our Belfast Road Location). OSHA requires qualitative or quantitative fit testing before a user wears a mandatory respirator on the job. Our tests are QUALITATIVE . First Aid Connect will provide a 3M N95 mask for participants undergoing mask fit testing, but we can also conduct mask fit tests on any style of respirator brought by the participant.
