BLS Renewal is a fast-paced course designed for experienced healthcare providers who are routinely called on to apply their resuscitation skills. Delivered entirely in the classroom, it covers single-rescuer and multi-rescuer basic life support skills for prehospital and in-facility environments, focusing on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.
The BLS Renewal course assumes comprehensive awareness, knowledge, and skill proficiency in Heart & Stroke BLS concepts. This fast-paced course is for students who are confident in their BLS skills, use their skills regularly, require limited practice and who already possess a valid Heart & Stroke BLS certificate to renew their credentials for another year.

Course Duration
Basic Life Support Renewal (BLS – CPR HCP) training will take around 2-3 hours.
Certificate
Upon successful completion of the training, all participants will receive a Basic Life Support (BLS – CPR HCP) Provider recertification valid for 1 year.
CME / CPD Credits
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada:
Eligible for two (2) credits per hour under Section 2 of the MOC Program as “Traineeships”.
Other Colleges / Regulatory Bodies:
